Essential requirements and candidate background

• 4+ years in backend software engineering roles, with demonstrated ability to navigate technical trade-offs and ambiguity effectively
• Proficiency: C#, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
• Hands-on knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server
• Experience: message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS, Kaffia)
• Experience writing unit tests and ensuring high test coverage
• Knowledge: data structures and algorithms
• Experience: microservices architecture
• Experience: designing new functionality for existing complex components while maintaining scalability and performance
• Collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
