• Identify and troubleshoot instrument abnormalities, machine faults, and performance degradation, implement corrective actions to restore normal instrument operation
• Document findings with supporting evidence (chromatograms, spectral data, control charts)
• Support: shift-based laboratory operations
• Adhere to chemical laboratory safety, SDS/MSDS protocols, and emergency response procedures
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams on data validity and equipment status
• Identify process pain points and propose digital/procedural enhancements
• Contribution: to method development and validation activities
• Analysis: instrument data and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions
• Identify and troubleshoot instrument abnormalities, implement corrective actions and escalate recurring issues to management with technical justification
• Escalate unresolved OOC/OOS conditions to management with trend analysis and recommended actions

Essential requirements and candidate background

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Office applications
• Required to work in 12 hours shift pattern with day or night cycles
• Able to communicate in basic English
• Analytical judgment and attention to detail
• Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
• Own transportation for travelling to work
