Essential requirements and candidate background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is required
• 12+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and high-growth public software/technology company; have worked in Corporate Accounting and other functions within a CAO
• Possess deep understanding of US GAAP; experience with reducing close timeline within sacrificing accuracy; worked in an environment that complies with SOX controls and Big 4 external audits requirements
• Extensive experience with accounting tools (e.g., Netsuite, Xactly, LeaseQuery, Coupa) and Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience: AI tools
• Have a vision on what an efficient Corporate Accounting function should look like at scale in a high growth environment and drive change
• Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Communication skills and track record on being able to manage up and downwards
• 3 days a week in the Palo Alto office
