Essential requirements and candidate background

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• 2-5 years of Software QA experience, including 8+ years testing software integrated with hardware/firmware
• Technical Proficiency:
• Experience: electronics, microcontroller programming, and bus communications, ideally in power systems, semiconductors, or ICs
• GUI test automation skills with Python and tools such as Qt Squish, SmartBear Test Complete, or similar
• Familiarity: lab test equipment and measurement tools
• Understanding: JIRA, version control, QA best practices, and software/hardware development lifecycles
• Ability to mentor teams, hardware/software test development and lab management, improve test coverage, and drive quality initiatives
• Willingness to speak up, raise issues and risks, ask lots of questions, and provide improvement recommendations for products, test cases, test automation, and team processes
