54 apprenticeship seats and training period
IRCON International advertisement A01/2026 invites applications for one year of apprenticeship training. The total comprises 36 graduate seats and 18 technician diploma seats at projects and offices across India. Training is under the Apprentices Act, and completion does not create a right to employment with IRCON. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and meals, so the monthly stipend should be assessed alongside the cost of living at the eventual training location.
Graduate disciplines and seat distribution
The graduate seats comprise Civil Engineering 15, Electrical eight, S&T four, Human Resource one, Finance two, Rajbhasha one, CSR one, Legal two and IT two. The non-engineering routes specify BBA, BCom, BA Hindi, Bachelor of Social Work and LLB for the corresponding streams. The IT route lists the specified computer-science or IT BSc/BCA/BE/BTech qualifications. Check the precise discipline and reservation row in the notice before selecting a seat.
Diploma seats and qualification timing
Technician seats are divided equally between Civil and Electrical, with nine in each discipline. Qualifications and age are assessed as on 1 October 2026. The notice permits the stated 2026, 2025 and 2024 passing years and qualifications passed on or after 1 July 2023, subject to its three-year condition. Candidates awaiting results, supplementary results or back papers are instructed not to apply. Do not substitute an anticipated graduation date for an already completed qualification.
Age, previous training and work restrictions
The normal age range is 18–30 years on 1 October. The notice provides five-year SC/ST and three-year OBC-NCL relaxation where the seat is reserved for that category. Previous apprenticeship with IRCON or another organisation makes a candidate ineligible. It also excludes those who have accumulated one year or more of training or work after completing their education. These restrictions matter even when your marks and qualification otherwise fit the discipline.
Stipend, location and merit-based selection
The monthly stipend is ₹14,000 for graduate apprentices and ₹12,000 for diploma apprentices. There is no interview: eligible candidates are shortlisted through qualifying-examination marks. Enter percentages without rounding, and use the university's conversion rules where CGPA is awarded. Selected trainees can be placed at IRCON projects or offices according to available slots. The list of states in the notice is an indication of current establishments, not a promise of an applicant's preferred posting.
Online application closes on 5 November
First obtain the required student registration on NATS and retain the unique number. Complete IRCON's online application between 16 October and 5 November 2026 using the portal linked from its careers page. Prepare the photograph, signature, identity, education and applicable category documents within the specified format and size limits. Check every field before final submission because the notice says submitted details cannot subsequently be changed.
Signed paper application must arrive by 17 November
Online submission alone is insufficient. Print the completed application, physically sign the declaration and send it with the required self-attested documents to Manager/HRM, IRCON International Limited, C-4, District Centre, Saket, New Delhi 110017. The package must reach the office by 17 November 2026. Use the advertisement's envelope superscription. Plan dispatch around delivery time rather than treating the receipt deadline as a last date for posting.
Documents, results and joining preparation
The enclosure list includes Class X age evidence, the qualifying degree or diploma and marksheets, conversion evidence where applicable, and relevant community certificates. OBC-NCL and EWS documents must satisfy the notice's current-financial-year conditions. Shortlisting is published on the official website and communicated by email. Originals will be verified, and selected candidates must provide medical fitness in the prescribed format. Keep the registered email active and check IRCON's careers page for corrigenda.
